Parent voice
We welcome feedback from parents throughout the year and always have members of our Senior Leadership Team on the gate, at the start and end of each day, to welcome families and listen to parent views. Teachers are also available to talk with parents at the end of the day.
In addition to this we send out a survey during the Spring term.
We asked parents to identify the school strengths from their perspective. Here are some of the comments;
- Keeping children safe and happy
- Respect and celebrate different cultures and beliefs. Children really enjoy all the activities.
- Variety of things to do! This school by far has the best activities and fun
- Easily the best school in East london at the very least!
- My children enjoy going to school. Everyone at the school are nice and friendly. They enjoy playing and learning.
- It is a small school, my child knows who to reach out for help, very nurturing environment
- Its nice to see the school has a range of events going on throughout the year and staff are very welcoming. The communication amongst staff is noticed from afar and staff always have a positive attitude towards children and parents.
- School makes parents and students feel welcome
- Diversity, celebrating different cultures... Having workshops for different things. Having assemblies so parents get to see their children's work and makes us feel like a community.... All the teachers are really friendly and approachable including the senior team.
- Friendly, welcoming and safe environment. Excellent teachers.

Suggestions for improvements that parents have made:
- Supporting parents with homework so they are then able to help their children
- More afternoon parent workshops to support our working parents
- More information displayed at reception to sign post people to other services

- Overall we love the school. The teachers are very helpful and friendly. We feel really safe and confident to send our child to Elizabeth Selby infant school. My child is very happy to go school everyday.
- Outstanding school from my point of view. this school is talked out in the community and i as a father of 3 all my children have passed through this school and the school has made them who they are. What a FANTASTIC school!
- My daughter loves school, one of the main reason is she feels safe and secure. She really likes the teachers and support staff. The staff enthusiasm for teaching shows and my daughter alway talks about her positive interactions with staff.
