Nursery Curriculum Overview
The Nursery Curriculum Overview at Elizabeth Selby Infant School sets out a play-based approach to early learning, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. It focuses on supporting children’s development across key areas such as communication and language, personal and social skills, physical development, early literacy and numeracy, and creative learning.
Through a balance of adult-led activities and child-initiated play, children are encouraged to explore, develop confidence, and build a strong foundation for future learning in a nurturing and engaging environment.
