Reception Curriculum Overview
Our Reception curriculum builds on children’s prior experiences by combining adult-led teaching with meaningful play-based learning opportunities. Children are supported to grow into confident, curious and independent learners while strengthening their skills in phonics, reading, writing, mathematics and personal development. This provides a secure foundation for a smooth transition into Key Stage 1.
